Saker has spent 15 years working in an industry where every connection matters. Whether in warehousing, inventory management, operations, or supply-chain optimization, his experience has taught him a fundamental truth: when one link fails, everything downstream feels it. It is a principle Saker would come to understand far beyond the supply chain—not only through a changing industry, but through his own life.

When Saker first arrived in Canada, long before artificial intelligence began reshaping virtually every industry, he carried dreams, uncertainty, and a professional résumé he had worked extremely hard to build. But in a new country, much of what he had accomplished suddenly felt temporarily erased by a new border. Yet what came next would shape one of the most important lessons of his journey: “If my story has taught me anything, it’s that your starting point never determines your destination.”

Years later, when AI began reshaping the logistics sector, Saker recognized a challenge that felt familiar. His own journey had taught him what it means to face the unknown, keep learning, and rebuild when the path ahead isn’t clear. Rather than fear what AI could mean for the workforce, Mo chose to understand it—and help others understand it too. As he reminds us, “Progress is often invisible before it’s obvious.” It is a perspective shaped not only by what Mo has studied, but by what he has lived.

He still remembers arriving in Canada and having to navigate an entirely new environment. It was challenging and overwhelming at times, but he never gave up. He had to do what many proud, established professionals dread most—he had to start completely over. Starting over can be scary, but Mo learned that it can also reveal what you’re capable of. He built his career “one opportunity at a time,” carrying with him a lesson that still shapes his outlook today: “Your current situation is not your final chapter.” For Mo, there is always hope in what comes next when we are willing to keep learning and keep going.

Every challenge taught him something new. Every setback became a masterclass in resilience and the courage to keep going. It was during those rebuilding years that Saker quietly developed the leadership philosophy he carries today:

“Success isn’t about having the loudest voice,” he says. “It’s about consistently solving problems, helping people, and creating value where others don’t see it.”

Yes, technology is moving faster than ever, and Saker understands how overwhelming that pace of change can feel. One of Mo’s greatest strengths is taking complicated ideas, whether in AI, supply chain, or professional growth, and making them practical, understandable, approachable, and useful. At the heart of his approach is something deeply human. Saker believes that even as AI becomes embedded in our everyday lives, we cannot strip away the qualities that make our workplaces human: empathy, heart, creativity, intuition, and connection.

“When artificial intelligence began changing the workplace, I didn’t see it as something to fear,” he explains. “I saw an opportunity to learn, adapt, and help others navigate the same change.”

Embracing technology, Saker believes it should strengthen what people are capable of in the workforce, not diminish the human relationships that allow organizations and industries to thrive. He takes his depth of knowledge one step further by sharing what he knows so others can grow alongside him. 

Mo has spent countless hours behind the scenes—hours most people will never see. He intentionally invests in his own learning so he can equip and inspire others. He continues earning certifications, studying algorithms, experimenting with emerging tools, and pushing himself to understand what is coming next. For Saker, learning is about making sure others are not left behind. “Knowledge becomes truly valuable only when it’s shared,” he says.

His own journey is proof that unfamiliar territory does not have to become a stopping point. His Curiosity for life and his industry allows him to keep learning so he can teach others. Resilience gives him the strength to keep going and inspire others to do the same. His Generosity turns what he learns into knowledge that can help professionals continue to evolve within their industries.

For Mo, real progress is found in using what we know to create meaningful opportunities for others. Recently, Saker received a deeply personal message from a follower on LinkedIn. She explained that a particular piece of content he had shared appeared on her screen at a moment when she felt ready to give up. His words helped give her the strength to keep going.

Mo’s commitment to his industry and the people within it is clear, but some of what matters most to him exists far beyond his professional life. His greatest joy is found in the simple, quiet moments with his family. They keep him grounded and remind him why he works so hard. “Success means very little if you don’t have people to share it with,” he says.

When asked what he would want someone reading his story today to hear, Saker’s message was clear: “The world doesn’t just need smarter people. It needs people who use their knowledge to make life better for others.”
