I know resilience because I’ve lived it. I stood at my 8‑year‑old daughter’s hospital bedside as she fought for her life against a sudden, life‑threatening illness. It was every parent’s nightmare — and yet, through the Stollery Children’s Hospital, through prayer, and through hope, she survived. A miracle child.

But her battle didn’t end there. She stepped into another storm: relentless bullying that left invisible wounds. And as I watched her rise — with courage in her spirit and tears in her eyes — I realized her fight was also mine. She is my reflection: fierce, resilient, unyielding.

But my strength wasn’t built in comfort. It was forged in fire. That’s why my lotus is not “just a logo.” It is my story — rising from the mud, growing through darkness, and becoming something stronger, wiser, and deeply aligned.

But then came another heartbreak. I lost my two closest friends, only a month apart. Loss that shakes your identity. Loss that forces you to choose: stay in the darkness, or rise again.

I’ve walked beside people through addiction and despair. I’ve carried grief with grace. I’ve turned my scars into strength. And through every season, I learned this truth:
